Golde isn’t limited to one trade — they offer concrete, steel, industrial, civil and residential construction services
They handle everything from concrete scanning, core drilling, rebar placement, formwork to steel fabrication and erection, and even broader civil-infrastructure work (e.g. site excavation, pipe/services installation, civil works)
On top of trade work they also offer engineering services (structural, mechanical, civil), which means they can deliver design and build packages rather than only labour or subcontractor-type contracts
GOLDE Contractors Pty Ltd was founded in 2023 by Craig McIntosh, whose background is deeply rooted in military service. Throughout his career, Craig developed one defining attribute above all others — adaptability.
This adaptability, combined with confidence and a willingness to learn from every situation and person, has shaped GOLDE’s inclusive and collaborative workplace culture.
Since 2016, Craig has led numerous telecommunications projects, both underground and structural, where his passion for structural work fostered close partnerships with Structural, Civil, Geotechnical, and Electrical Engineers, as well as Landscape Architects. These experiences ultimately inspired the creation of GOLDE Contractors.
The name GOLDE (derived from “gold”) carries meaning — gold is a noble metal, renowned for its purity and resistance to corrosion. Likewise, GOLDE is noble in its approach to business — committed to excellence, integrity, and delivering work that stands the test of time.

Its important for us to be members of Master Builders Queensland. We utilise their services including Legal advice, Customer contracts, Industry guidance, Insurance and someone you can call when you have questions. They don’t just keep us straight, but also our clients too, which in turn helps us foster great working and contractual relationships.
Golde emphasizes doing work “right the first time.” our ethos is not just completing projects — but building infrastructure “to last the test of time,” with structural integrity and durability. We aim for high standards in workmanship, supported by engineers and certification processes when needed, which is particularly important in structural, civil or industrial projects where safety and longevity matter.
Golde publicly commits to values such as honesty, integrity, diligence, transparency, fairness and inclusivity.
We source materials from Australian suppliers (supporting local supply chains), which can help with supply-chain transparency and reduce risks related to materials and labour sourcing. We also have policies around workplace inclusion and social standards, suggesting we care not just about projects but about the people doing them.
Golde markets itself especially to sectors requiring heavy structural and civil work — such as telecommunications, power, mining — rather than only residential or light build work.
That sector-focus means we have experience, skills, and compliance know-how that some more general contractors may lack. For clients needing complex infrastructure rather than just houses or small commercial fit-outs, this can be a major strength.
Can handle major structural, industrial or civil-infrastructure work, not just standard residential build or renovation.
Requires both design/engineering and concrete/steel fabrication/installation — i.e. a “full-service” approach from planning to build.
Values quality, long-term durability, compliance and ethical sourcing.
Prefers to work with a local (Queensland-based), Australian-owned firm with transparent practices, especially for sectors like telecommunications, power or mining infrastructure
